2013

FASA was founded on March 14, 2013. In our 1st seasonal year from 03/14 until 07/31/2013, 550 teams registered to play FASA. Needless to say, FASA started off as a great success!

2014

Continued growth with 1,100 teams registered, doubling our first year numbers!

2015

Amazing expansion with almost 1,800 teams registered in the 2015 season.

2026

The 2026 season has seen teams from States register, with expectations of this number growing to exceed 4,000 teams sanctioned to play FASA in the 2026 Season!

Our goal is, without exception, to be the most team, coach, fan, and player friendly organization in the Nation and to also provide only top quality officials at every Event.
FASA is creating life long memories one pitch at a time!

🎪 Purpose

Our purpose is to hold only the highest quality Events by focusing on what is in the best interest of our teams and players.

⚾Team Classification

Teams are classified as either "A", "B", "C", or "C-REC"! While the area director can lock in a classification to stop a team from being reclassified, the classification will be done by our points system.

Pure League

Classification Breakdown:
• Class A: Teams in the top 20% of points in their age group
• Class B: Teams within 40% - 80% of the top points
• Class C: Teams with 40% or less of the top points
• Class C-REC: Pure league teams only

🏆Tournaments

All Tournaments must be posted on the Fastpitch America Softball Association web site.

All Fastpitch America Softball Association tournaments will be classified as either "OPEN", "A", "B", "C", or "C-REC".

NIT's are double points events
Regional qualifiers and State Tournaments are triple points events

If your team holds an event, there will be no other FASA Tournaments located within 60-75 miles of your event. (Some exceptions may apply in larger markets, like DFW Metroplex or Houston)
